Behind the brand

It all began with a simple idea in 2017. Two years later, Snowroller release its third collection to happy skiiers all over the world.

Explore the below and get to know the Snowroller Team, and learn how it all began.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

THE IDEA

It all started when Linnea and her friends wore on their yearly Easter trip to Trysil. The idea about Snowroller came when the girls talked about wanting a unique and stylish outfit for the slopes and après-ski. Linnea had just seen the Swedish movie “Selskapsreisen” from the 80s, where the retro ski suit was presented.

Why not relaunch the retro ski suit she asked her friends?

Half a year later, a trip to China and designing in Photoshop, the first Snowroller collection was born. That winter, the slopes wore spiced with colourful ski apparel, and the Snowroller brand was official.

THE YEAR AFTER

BET OR DON’T?

After a successful acceptance in the Norwegian market, Linnea decided to bet another season. The inspiration for the new collection was once again drawn from the happy 80s with white stripes as the main component.

In the fall of 2018, Linnea met her current teammate Eva through a joint entrepreneurship program.

The girls worked well together and shared a lot of interests and values. After some casual conversations around the kitchen table, the girls quickly decided to join forces to run the Snowroller. Thus, the Snowroller had gone from one to two, and the startup surely began to grow.

ALL IN

After an almost sold-out season, Linnea and Eva quickly decided to bet on Snowroller. But only bigger and better this time. They quickly hired clothing designer Caroline, and together with a focus group, they created the new collection.

The girls are thrilled for a new winter season, and can’t wait to see the new styles on the slopes and at après-ski.
